  1. What is a Vibe Agent?

    Being a Vibe Agent is simply sharing information, thoughts and opinions with people around you in an open and honest way - like you do all the time with your friends and family.
  2. Are there any rules that I have to follow if I become a Vibe Agent?

    We don't have many rules but here are a couple of really important ones:
    1. Always tell the people you are sharing stuff with that you are a Vibe Village Vibe Agent. Vibe Agents are not trying to convince people of anything, rather they are trying to help others with information they possess, IF and WHEN it is appropriate.
    2. Share whatever you feel about the products and services, both the positives and the negatives
  3. Why should I become a Vibe Agent? What's in it for me?

    Be the first to GET the scoop on new and unreleased products and services in the market. GET your own Vibe Pack with FREE samples.

    Be the first to SHARE all your FREE brand samples with your friends. SHARE what you think with others and hear what they've got to say.

    Be the first to SHAPE the future of your favourite brands by giving your feedback. To help SHAPE product design, have your voice heard to see the difference.
  4. Will I ever receive cash for participating in a Vibe Program?

    No. We do not want "paid for" comments since this could compromise the integrity of the word of mouth message. You may be able to win cash as part of a promotion from time to time.
  5. How does a Vibe Agent spread the word?

    Here at Vibe Village we work with a number of large organisations that are interested in hearing what you have to say about their products. They also know that the most powerful way to communicate the benefits of their products or services is through people like you who have experienced them. Here's how it works:
    • Complete a Program Survey: this allows Vibe Village to match Agents with products. Sometimes, you will not be invited to participate in the program you have enrolled in because there are limited spots available or there are other Agents with a higher interest match with the product program.
    • Receive and Try: you will be sent a sample of the product or more information about the service for you to experience.
    • Share the VIBE: When the opportunity arises you share with your friends your thoughts and feelings on the product or service.
    • Report the VIBE: You need to report back to the Village so that your feedback can be passed on to our clients and we can constantly improve VIBE Programs and how they are run. You also gain greater status in the Community, entry into monthly promotions and greater privileges and rewards with the more reports you submit.
  6. Who is eligible to be a Vibe Agent?

    You must be an Australian or New Zealand resident and 14 years of age or older. If you are under 18 years of age we will need parental consent via email. On the join screen, a parental email address will be requested from you if your date of birth indicates that you are under the age of 16, your parent or legal guardian will need to confirm their consent allowing you to join.
  7. What kind of person makes a good Vibe Agent?

    People from all walks of life - students to trades people to grandparents. You do need to be
    • passionate about certain interests in your life. You will be enthusiastic about spreading your honest, unforced thoughts with others and seeking information from like-minded people.
    • You might also be an opinion leader or expert in a certain area where people ask you for your opinion.
    • You may also be a trendsetter and like to see and get things before others.
  8. Why does Vibe Village want to run word of mouth (Vibe) programs?

    Vibe Village runs Vibe marketing programs on behalf of paying clients. These clients could come from several industries including food, beverages, technology etc. These clients are looking to reach consumers in a very targeted way. By understanding your interests/passions we can tailor very targeted offers to you so that you will only hear about things you have an interest in. These clients understand that many people are difficult to reach through traditional advertising channels for a variety of reasons but that others may be more receptive to hearing about products and services from likeminded people they can trust.
  9. Does Vibe Village charge me a fee for joining or participating in programs?

    No. Membership is free and there is no cost for participation in a program.
  10. Will the products that I Vibe about ever cost me?

    Generally you'll get the samples for free. Some more expensive products such as a phone for example, may be available to you at a discounted price. This will vary depending on the campaign, the products involved and the client budget.
  11. Where I do need to pay for a product, how do I do this?

    Where you do need to pay a discounted price, this can be done using your credit card and the Vibe Village secure payment system.
  12. How do you select me to participate in Vibe Programs and match me with only those products I am interested in?

    We use the information you provide us with regarding your interests, passions and your demographic details (age, sex, gender, type of employment etc) to match you with programs we believe you will be interested in. You can help us to match you more closely with various programs by staying up to date with Polls and Surveys on your My Vibe page which gives us a little more information about you than you will have provided when you joined.
  13. What is a Poll? What is a Survey? Where do I find them?

    A Poll is normally a couple of questions on a particular topic that creates interest, fun and discussion amongst members. A Survey is normally 5-10 questions that enables us to better match you against a word of mouth program that you might be interested in. Because we only get a very broad overview of your interests when you join, we sometimes need to ask a few more questions depending on what the brand is trying to achieve out of the word of mouth program. Every time you complete a Poll or a Survey you get points that will contribute towards your entries into the monthly promotion.

  14. Will My personal information remain between me and ONLY Vibe Village?

    Yes. You will never be spammed nor will your details be passed on to any third party. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
  15. I filled in a survey but wasn't invited to join a program. Why?

    There are a few resons for why this may happen:
    • There are limited spaces available for that particular program and it is full
    • There are other Agents with a higher interest match with the product program.
    • Vibe Village clients have given specific criteria that you don't match eg. You are a male with an interest in mobile phone technology and the client is targeting female mobile phone users
  16. What is a Vibe Report? Do I have to do them?

    Yes. We ask that you to actively participate in word of mouth programs by talking to others in a natural, honest way and reporting back on this conversation by way of a Vibe Report.

    A Vibe Report is Vibe Village's main way of measuring the success of a word of mouth program. Also, for every Vibe Report submitted you will be building your status as a member of Vibe Village. Building your status is good because it enables you to be in with the opportunity to receive great rewards from Vibe Village. We don’t just give rewards away, there for our Agents and Hosts who demonstrate their passion and commitment to the programs their involved in.

  17. What happens after you apply to join a Vibe Agent Program?

    We will send you an email acknowledging your application. Once we have all applications, we will make a decision selecting the Vibe Agents. This is based on a number on factors:

    1. How many spots are available on the program
    2. Programs Vibe Agents have previously done and their level of activity
    3. And the specific needs of the brand(s) that make up the program 

    Going directly to your Viber Profile page will allow you to keep track of all of your activity at anytime.

  18. As a Vibe Agent, can I make suggestions back to the company regarding their product?

    Absolutely, we encourage it. This can be done in a number of ways:
    • By completing a Survey
    • Participating in a word of mouth program
    • Completing a Vibe Report
    • Rating products and services
  19. Should I tell people I am a Vibe Agent?

    Yes. You are not selling anything and there is nothing to hide. It's really important that you tell people that you are involved with Vibe Village and that we have given you the opportunity to give feedback on a product or service. Whether it's good or bad feedback or a mixture of both, it doesn't matter provided it's honest.
  20. What is the disclosure check/ tick box on the Vibe Report?

    By ticking this box, you indicate that you have been upfront in telling those involved in completing a Vibe Report, that you are a Vibe Agent.
