| | Sounds great, i really enjoy the stay an extra night at places for no extra cost. As a family it is expensive for us to travel and stay in hotels, an extra night often goes a long way to moving that place to the top of our list. | | | |

| | I agree. Ive got 3 boys and my husband and when you have to book a hotel you have to book a 2 or 3 bedroom. It works out so expensive just for the family to travel. | | | |

| I would like to see airlines participate in discounts exclusive to vibe agents.
Virgin Blue Tiger Airlines Jetset Quantas.
Would be good to give feedback on service and food served on the plane etc. How impressed or unimpressed you are with these things. Would be helpful to make improvements if needed.

| | I'd like to see some family friendly deals, for familys with teens. Always stay and eat free deals for younger kids, nothing for teens. Makes a family holiday so much more expensive, and a lot of deals are just for 3 or 4 nights. I also have trouble browsing on these sites, (travel) and sometimes end up going to a travel agent instead. | | | |

| | Hopefully the discounts will be of the regular rate people can buy from travel agents (& online?) rather than the rack rate. Usually a discount on the rack rate has to be pretty hefty to be considered a discount when compared to just going to a travel agent!! | | | |

| | We are looking to go on holidays overseas next year. It would be great to get some really good recommendations of where to go (we are thinking one of the asian islands) and even better to get some sort of discount with VIBE - maybe wishful thinking. | | | |

| | I'd love to be able to try discounted accommodation. To be able to test places and recommend etc. Even if it's just over night you're able to get the vibe of the place. | | | |

| | i think that even a 2 for 1 voucher to holiday type attractions would be good so that they could be rated by Vibers as worth doing in various locations. I would be happy to visit and report on attractions in my local area that could be recommended ot other travellers. | | | |

I agree. It's hard when you have kids to consider. But please joannef do not go to travel agents if you are trying to save money. It is always cheaper if you book it over the net or ring up the hotel etc... yourself. I have sometimes found a hotel being adverised on the net, ringing them and getting a cheaper price for that night.
We travelled interstate and didn't book anything ahead. We went in the off season and managed to get excellent prices everywhere from Qld to Victoria and back. And we were at the time a family of 5.

| | I think right now for Qantas it would be an excellent idea for them to give something back to the people, with their string of mid flight incidences I'm sure their loyal customer following has dropped. If I'd never flown Qantas before I wouldn't want to fly with them following all the bad publicity lately. I think Vibe would be an excellent opportunity for them to market some new ideas and proposals and get some additional feedback. | | | |

I found that alot of hotels in Phuket were offereing stay 10 & pay 5 night deals when i went for my honeymoon in April, it included breakfast and to eat & drink was very reasonable - we went through a travel agent only because we wanted everything to be right for the special holiday but i think if youwent to the hotel directly & got your flights yourself it would be even better, still we paid just under $3000 for the 10 nights, breakfast & flights & all transfers & taxes...
If your regular travellers then maybe join a hotel club.. Priotiry Privellage is the Intercontinental Hotels Group (Holiday Inn, Crown Plaza etc) and it seems fairly expensive to join but if 2 people dine in the restaurant you get 50% off food! as well as accomodation discounts - they're a good idea if your going to alot of places with that specific hotel or if you live near one and enjoy the food they offer

| | This would be great. Even if it was a location with in a hour of where you live it still wouldnt cost a lot of money to get there and it will still be a nice break | | | |
