Goodness this vac is the worst ever! I recently purchased this on special for $120 as my other was truely in a bad way. My child spilt some raw oats on the carpet and I was keen to try it out. It was terrible! I set the vac to the position closest to the ground and started it up. It was the noisiest vac ever! Seriously sounded like I was taxing down the runway ready to take off. There's a very large blast of warm air emitting from the front and it blew the oats further under the lounge and onto the lounge suite from the front and when I vacuumed over the oats I was getting pain in my ankles and feet. Why? Because the lowest setting didn't actually touch the carpet! All the oats were getting spun around by the turbo head and getting fired out the back stinging me in the legs. It took 20mins to clean one small pile of oats as the lounge was sprayed with them after using this useless piece of machinery.

Thank you. I am in the market for a new vacuum cleaner so this is good to know. I think I will stick with the one I know. My Vax is 11 years old and still sucking well. Just the wash cycle no longer works and the wheels have fallen off !

wow that vac is a dud! you poor thing. You must of been so angry after buying it. I know i would be.
