These are wonderful and so easy to use!!

So far I've tried the beef and mushroom ragout and the Garlic & herb lamb shanks.

Using these bases in the slow cooker is so easy...even I can do it!

Our children loved the beef and mushroom ragout, which as all Mum's know is the true taste test!

If you don't have a slow cooker you can still use them in the oven so give them a go.

I have tried them all too, they are great and you can change them around by using different meat and vegies in them and they still taste great!

I agree these recipe bases are just amazing, you just throw everything in the pot, run to work and come home to a beautiful cooked dinner. Being a single mum and a full time worker these are just the time savers that I need. I have tried them all and must say they are all delicious!

I forgot to fire up the crockpot last night, but had the chicken already defrosted, so I took the chance and cooked the chicken curry one minus the spuds in an electric frypan. It tasted great. I added some corn kernals and green beans to make up for the removal of the potatos.

Thanks for the advice re: being able to cook the meals in the oven. I don't have a slow cooker but will definately give this a go in the oven!

I've just recently bought a slow cooker, and I have to say it's the best investment I've ever made. So far I've Made the McCormicks Mediterranean Chicken, was a bit to tomato based for me, but the chicken turned out beautiful. Also have tried their Beef & Red Wine Casserole, this one was a huge hit with the family. I've got alot of mouths to feed so I doubled the ingredients, the meat melted in your mouth & it was to die for. I served it up with steamed vegies & pasta, Yummmmmy!!!
I have alot of recipes for the slowcooker, & so far I can't complain about any of them. If anyone would like a copy, I can send it to you via Email. Just let me know.
Cheers

5babies I have to agree with you we have 7 in our household so when Im using my slowcooker I use double lots of everything including the recipe bases. The fact that they are delicious and not so expensive is a real bonus.

They also have slowcooker soup recipes, i have just bought the minestrone one and ma keen to try it out.
