My kids have bad reactions to insect bites and I'd like to find a really good cream to put on the bites to take away the itch, sting and the swelling. At the moment I use banana boat after sun gel as it contains aloe vera and menthol witch works if you get it on early enough. and I also use soov gel does anyone else have a suggestion.

What a great idea for something for us to trial! I use Soov and keep it in the fridge - my kids get HUGE lumps from mozzie and insect bites too. Stingoes is good but I think Soov is the best. You can try tea tree oil or products too and i even use that as a diluted spray when i know they are going to be outside when there are mozzies about - helps keep them away. Also - believe it on not - I find Vicks Vapor Rub (for chest colds) great on bites and stings - it works really well on bee and wasp stings/bites - must be the menthol in it. I found out as had a bee sting once and that's all I had to put on it and it really worked!
