I am probably the only person that hasn't tried it yet! Normal vegemite was on special ages ago, so I stocked up - hence why I have not been looking at the shelves in that area.

lol, don't bother buying any purplelion it's not worth it!

I sometimes think that rather than asking us to help sell products we ought to be trialling them before they put them on the shelves: I've not met anyone who's liked the new vegemite (or it's name!) yet...

i went shopping yesterday - and after all this talk about the new 'vegemite' . . Isnack2.0, I thought i would buy some to try it out with the kids.
It cost $5 for a jar, and yes, it is easy to spread, although the taste is not like vegemite at all. My children like the normal vegemite better, but they have had a sandwich each so far and almost 1/4 of the jar is gone already! It doesnt go far.
The normal vegemite might be strong and harder to spread, but at least you get HEAPS of sandwiches out of it, and you can use it cooking too. The new one in my opinion is a waste of money, would only make 12 sandwiches - tops, and the taste is not what i was expecting.
My kids want me to buy the normal vegemite next time.
OHHHHH, and dont forget to put it in the fridge when you open it - lol, my mother in law didnt (thinking it was like normal vegemite) an when she opened hers up next time she was making a sandwich for the grandkids, it was growing . . . .ewwwwwwwww!
** helps to read the jar! lol **
