We all see them advertised..but until someone we know recommends them...how many of us go out and buy them?? Give us a few toys to try out..they will be very enthusiatically tested..lol

I'd like to try some toys, some that look like they're made from sturdy plastic end up being the most flimsy plastic and break so easily.

I want toys that are good and safe for preschoolers. My daughter loves playing with very creative toys. Toys that help them use their creative sides

i would also love to trial educational toys. anything to get their little brains working, because I have trouble some days coming up with new ideas for them to do education wise.

I agree with emmik20 I have a 2yr old who i can never keep up with new ideas for him to keep his mind active and educate him at the same time. THis woudl be a great idea if Vibe village found something to try and then recommend to all our mums and mothers groups we attend

I agree with everything that's been posted!!! And maybe also some kids dvds? I have so many dvds, and half the time the kids won't watch more than 5 mins of it before they're off and about again! Also cds... it's hard to know which ones are really good, and which ones will just send you nuts if you have to hear them over and over again!

With 3 kids, 8, 2 and newborn it is hard to know what to purchase for them. The things they are into this month are outdated next month

After receiving 2 mega toy sale catalogues(Kmart & Big W) in the mail today-with over 200 pages of Toys, I really could not think of anything better to try out. How confusing these catalogues are with so much choice.

I am with a charity called Mummy's Wish and we are looking at long lasting, easily cleaned toys to leave in oncology wards when mum's are getting treatment.

I'd love to try out new educational toys before they go on the market and there's a huge scramble for them in the shops! My baby is only 7 weeks but she's like a sponge and takes in so much of her surroundings. Baby books or toys with more textures would be great too, they seem hard to find, really good ones that can last for longer than a few months.

I would love to be able to trial products with my children andthe be able to recommend them to all my mum friends - For toddlers: educational toys For babies: Teething rings and gum/teeth brushes.

I definitely recommend educational toys because i want something that helps my children to think and learn as well as being fun to play with.

Also another mum jumping on the toy testing, I have an 8yo daughter , 3yo son & 19mth daughter with heaps of diffent aged kids coming in and out. Toys for girls: crafty is the IT toy no matter what age ( 1yo + with mums help) boys toys: needs to be hard to stand up to a lot of action playing thanks to ben10 & transformers guidance. Mix it up: Education that is basically wooden or puzzles gets anyone attention, same with new boardgames!
