I think we should not know what points we have. This is meant to be about giving feedback and reports on products not about competing to get the most points. If people know what points they have they will let others know, then what, will people make up false reports just to be ahead in points.!!!!!Leave it as is.

I totally agree with you pinkshoes. Many people would just make things up just to accrue points.
I would however be interested in how many I have. Maybe admin could put it on our own home page and no-one could see. Just a thought.

i agree with pinkshoes that it could become bogus if people think they will get points for just random nothings that degrade the point of VV.
I don't mean points as a this will get you this kinda thing, but like emailcash you get points for your experience and different things you do and it just based on how much effort you give to the site & how long you have been involved - only u see it and it may only mean u get a coloured star in the forum but its kinda nice

i agree about not having a point system, and it be more about having detailed and valued reports. though has anyone become a benefibre agent where they get the 3 extra bottles to give to a friend? I gave one to a friend and they signed up, there was a spot to say they were referred but not by whom, so how do they keep track of if you give the benefibre to a friend or keep it yourself?
I guess it is a new site so there will probably be a few kinks to sort out

I don't think it is a matter of getting "points" I think it is how much you contribute to the site and the quality of your input. If your enjoying yourself and have valid/constructive feedback I don't think points are needed? I think that all they ask is that we do our best. :)

I'd say that having set guidelines printed on the site, rather than point totals for individuals, would be the way to go if you're going to have points at all.

Then everyone knows why people get points, and how they can enhance their own 'sharing the Vibe' through these guidelines.

Hi guys,

Points were used to determine the users who had best shared the Vibe in a few programs and parties to help us select prize winners. There is no way to view how many you have as we are no longer using them.

However we are currently working on a new concept called trustfactor to help us select agents for programs and parties. Go to http://www.vibevillage.com.au/VibeAgent/Forum/tabid/100/forumid/17/postid/6842/view/topic/Default.aspx to find out all about it and let us know what you think!

Hannah (Vibe Village team).
