Me too. Especially excited as we've moved into a house that doesn't seem to have any energy efficient features at the moment. Looking at changing that asap!!!!

I just got my acceptance email. We do try to live a green life, so it's going to be great to trial these light globes.

I was just reading through some conversation reports for this yesterday and then got an email to say I've been approved last night! What a great program - every little thing we can do helps, and my Mum was just saying recently that she'd like a booklet with the information on how she can help be more environmentally friendly - have I got just the thing for her now!

Thanks Vibe Village - am loving being a member and all the fantastic programs I've been lucky enough to be a part of - keep them coming!

I got accepted too. The big prize for the top agent sounds pretty awesome. Especially being a new home owner and all! I have become super concious about energy around the home and had that home service thing done where they put an energy monitor in your house. I'm always turning things off when it coming up high now. But the electricity bill has looked better for it. Or maybe that was due to the dishwasher being out of action for 6 months.

I was accepted too - the main prize does sound awesome - the winner will be extremely happy with it. We have our house fully insulated already, and it is awesome - cool in summer, warm in winter . . . it is well worth the money! good luck everyone aiming for the main prize :) have fun sharing the 'vibe'

I received my light globes today. Can't wait to try them and see if they are as good as the old ones.

My friend bought some of these new ones ( not Phillips ) and they gave her a headache. I am
hoping these will not do the same to me.

I received my energy saving light globes today and will install them tomorrow - I'm looking forward to seeing how good they are. The shopping lists will also come in really handy.

did anyone else notice that they can't be used with dimmers, remotes or electronic switches. And the classic shape one could take 3 minutes to reach maximum light output. Does that rule out using them in touch lamps? I do like the compact shape as alot of the energy savers are quite big and don't fit in our lights.

yeah, they would be the perfect size to put in the touch lamps, but they can't be used in them. I think they should come out with low watts lights that CAN be used in touch lamps and dimmer lights - now THAT would be a breakthrough!!

you can actually buy energy saving dimmer ones but there is a downfall they cost about 20 dollars each we have bought them for our house

Well, I'm thrilled for everyone who has been accepted, but my application is still pending/being reviewed! I would have thought I would have been sent a knock back application by now.
