nearly 6 years ago my soh car which was a limo was hit by a barina and should have been written off but they repaired it. it has been a dud ever since - not safe/road worthy/taken off the road by racq, leaking boot, dodgy fix of a kinked fuel line and many other things. the assessor has never done the right thing in regards to this job and all the notes by him and the telephone staff are incorrenct. ombudsman won't touch it as they can't deal with insurance companies. fair trading won't do anything either as insurance companies are not part of their charter/fight against. soh is at a loss as to what to try. my suggestion was foi or what it is now and get all the relevant documents they have on the case and then lodge it all with the ombudsman, tv programs won't touch it - too old - how is it too old when it is still going on. now it has mould growing in it as a result of the leaking boot/car, petrol won't work - thankfully it is dual fuel - gas/petrol - that also was a result of the accident, not fixing the kink properly.
my recommendation, don't touch nrma with a barge pole.
any ideas appreciated.

I would have to agree. A customer of ours made a claim with them and was treated like a criminal. Hounding everyone for the tiniest details because they didn't want to pay up. Not pleasant.
