It's great to be part of Vibe Village, I find it an easy to use site, with cute little characters and fabulous ops to trial.

It's a nut that you use to wash clothes in. It actually does an excellent job, there's nothing added just this nut. So it's great for the environment.
I used to use the nuts, cracked and they now have a ground powder you can buy...wonderful. Does a great job. When you want fragrance you just add a few drops of scented oil to the wash.

that sounds amazing! sorry to sound like a conspiracy theorist but we probably haven't heard of it because its an independant venture! I like the sound of it though, will look at the website.

No conspiracy. It's the same as everything...once upon a time it was used for washing clothes, bodies, hair etc and then 'better' things came along that smelled like flowers instead of nothing and looked nice and white instead of brown so it was forgotten.
There are some amazing 'old time' alternatives out there in the world and all just a click and a Credit card away...
Ummm....I wonder if a Soap Nut Tree would grow here? I will have to look that one up.
