I have never been one to spend a great deal on 'basic items', but a friend recommended I try Tupperware's scissors and peelers.

I will NEVER buy cheapies again!

Tupperware's kitchen scissors (but I use them EVERYWHERE) actually come apart in two seconds, into two pieces for easy cleaning. They just don't blunt - ever, and can be used on everything from raw meat, to delicate fabric - yep I tried them on both hehe

They may cost you a bit initially BUT... you have the benefit of Tupperware's lifetime guarantee so you'll never need to buy them again!

Ok you might need to because if your children are like mine, they will steal them when they move out because they are sooooo good! lol

They sound great! I've never heard of them but I'm definitely going to have a look at them.

Agree about the scissors. I even cut my sheep's wool around her face when she got overgrown..I have had mine for about 6 years and they are still just as sharp. I don't like the twistable peeler though even though I am the Tupperware QUEEN !!

I love anything and everything tupperware! I told my hubby that if and when we build a new house, we need to allow space in the kitchen for a few massive drawers of tupperware lol

I lOVE the peeler, the old style not the twistable one as I love the way you peel down, not with your hand on the side. It is just amazing.

I agree, once again tupperware delivers, some items are expensive but you do get a reliable product for what you pay for. My cupboards & drawers are full of tupperware. The can opener is wonderful if you have arthritis or wrist problems.
