I am an ex chef, and dont believe that half the new things designed to make life in the kitchen easier actually will. but I would love to be proven wrong with a sample I dont have to pay to try first and if i am proven wrong and the items make my life easier then I definately would recomend to friends and family.

items I am talking about are things like:
pancake makers, doughnut makers, health grills, multislicers etc (there are heaps of them)

I constantly get asked if they would be worth it. I have no idea but dont have the cash to waste on each of them to find out if they are (or arent).

ha ha ....why cant a kettle last more than 8-10 months-they should be labeled as disposable
and having them sent back to the manufacturer means I still have to buy a new one!!!

Just to let you know the silicon backware is extremly good! I forked out the money which I thought was highly over priced, but I just keep adding because it really is worth it!

BigKahuna, I totally agree! You just end up with a cupboard full of useless gadgets hidden under other useless gadgets!

I'm a little concerned about the safety/toxicity of silicon bakeware. I know they say it's safe, but I find it hard to believe.
