This would be a fantastic idea! Because the samples in the shop although you can test the colour, you cannot put it on your lips, obviously for hygiene, and therefore it is hard to see exactly how it looks and also you don't know how long it will last on your lips just by trying it on the back of your hand. I think samples of lipsticks is a great idea!

True, you can't test colours on the back of your hand too accurately, after all- the skin colour on the back of your hand is nothing like your skin's lipcolour.

YES lipstick is a bit like perfume , you never know how long it lasts unless you get to trial it first , be great to have samples of lipstick to try.

but how would we go with the colours??? Would there be something like a description of the colours that we'd "pick" from? I know I wouldnt go out wearing a colour that is wrong for me.

Yes, some of them don't even last through a trip to the shops. I don't know if there are any but I'd like to try lead free long lasting lipsticks.
