| | I hate the way you cant actually try one before you buy, in most stores they are plastic copies with fake pics on the screens. The best one I liked was when a nokia agent was actually in store with one. Most reviews you read are from tech people on specs. I want to know will it last the length of the contract will it stay in one piece if it gets dropped. Can I actually use the features it has? To me I want to have it and try it or at least put it through its paces before I buy.I know I am unlikley to switch brands without spending time with another make...I know this is a tough sell due to the value of mobile phones but its my 10 cents worth! | | | |

| | Agree, it's hard buying a mobile when performance wise all you've got to go off is here say or something written on a brochure. You can't be sure how long the battery will last or just how loud and clear a hands-free function is, until you can try it yourself. | | | |

| I agree with Guts! You take a big gable spending close to $1k on a mobile to find it may not be what you wanted! There is so much new technology and designs which dont work all the time!
SO cmon test them out on us so we can improve your product!!!

| I dont know about in Australia, but in the USA companies get people to try out mobile phones etc.
So is a good idea. | | | |

| | Great idea, there's so many features on them it can be hard to tell what you want in store. The sales staff often push you in a direction you don't want to go in. | | | |

| I agree I would love to try some smart phones.
There could also be some telcos too we could get sent a limited amount sim card to use in our existing mobile phone. Living in a semi rural area I would like to find out which company has the best coverage in our area. Without having 4 contracts with the companies.

| | I totally agree, my husband works outside and on building site, so he needs a phone that can be heard over noise. Everytime he goes to get a new one, which can be quite often, he asks to see it working so he can hear how loud it can go and they never have any actual phones just dummy ones. He changed his last phone after 2 months because even after being assured by the salesman it was a loud phone he had too many missed phone calls. | | | |
